Crispy Meat Rolls Recipe



A plate of crispy golden-brown meat rolls, freshly baked or fried, arranged on a serving platter. The rolls are cut open to reveal a delicious filling of minced meat, melted cheese, and colorful bell peppers. Served with small bowls of dipping sauces like ketchup, mayonnaise, and cheese sauce. Ingredients:

  • 500g minced meat

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • ½ cup mixed bell peppers, finely chopped (optional)

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp meat spices

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese

  • Spring roll pastry or puff pastry (your choice)

  • 2-3 tbsp oil

  • 1 beaten egg (for brushing if using puff pastry)

Instructions:

Preparing the Filling:
  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

  2. Sauté the onion and garlic until softened.

  3. Add the minced meat and stir until cooked and browned.

Adding Flavors:
  1. Add the bell peppers (if using), paprika, meat spices, salt, and pepper.

  2. Stir and let the mixture simmer on low heat until the liquid evaporates.

  3. Let the mixture cool down.

Assembling the Rolls:
  1. If using spring roll pastry, lay out a sheet and place a spoonful of the meat mixture on one end.

  2. Sprinkle some cheese on top.

Rolling:
  1. Roll the pastry tightly, sealing the edges with a bit of water or beaten egg.

Baking or Frying:
  1. For puff pastry: Arrange the rolls on a lightly greased baking tray and brush with beaten egg.

  2. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

  3. For spring roll pastry: Deep-fry in hot oil until crispy and golden
