Crispy Phyllo Layers with Brie Cheese

Ingredients:
8-10 sheets of phyllo dough
200g Brie cheese, thinly sliced
½ cup cranberry sauce
¼ cup toasted nuts (walnuts/pecans)
2-3 tbsp melted butter
Honey for serving
Fresh thyme sprig (optional for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Lightly grease a baking tray with melted butter.
2. Prepare the Phyllo Dough:
Lay the first sheet of phyllo dough and brush it with melted butter.
Repeat the process for 4-5 layers.
3. Add the Filling:
Arrange the Brie slices evenly over the phyllo layers.
Spread a layer of cranberry sauce and sprinkle toasted nuts on top.
4. Complete the Layers:
Add additional phyllo layers on top, brushing each one with butter.
5. Cut and Bake:
Cut into squares or rectangles before baking.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
6. Serve:
Drizzle with honey while still warm.
Garnish with extra nuts and fresh thyme if desired.
