Ingredients:
300 grams of fish fillet (any type you prefer, such as grouper or cod)
2 medium-sized potatoes, boiled and mashed
1 egg
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
½ cup breadcrumbs for coating
Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
Prepare the Fish: Cut the fish into small pieces and place it in a food processor. Blend until finely minced.
Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the minced fish with the mashed potatoes. Add the egg, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, cumin, and paprika. Mix everything well until it’s thoroughly combined.
Shape the Balls: Take a small portion of the mixture and form it into small balls with your hands.
Coat with Breadcrumbs: Roll each fish and potato ball in breadcrumbs to coat it evenly, pressing gently to make sure the breadcrumbs stick.
Fry: Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Fry the fish and potato balls until they’re golden brown on all sides, then place them on paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
Serve: Serve the fish and potato balls hot with tahini sauce, mayonnaise, or a fresh green salad.
