Roasted Garlic Soup


A bowl of creamy roasted garlic soup, garnished with toasted bread and a drizzle of cream. The golden soup is served in a rustic ceramic bowl on a wooden table, accompanied by fresh herbs and roasted garlic cloves, with warm lighting creating an inviting atmosphere.

Ingredients:

  • Whole garlic heads

  • Onion, chopped

  • Butter

  • Vegetable or chicken broth

  • Toasted bread

  • Cream (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Roast the Garlic: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Cut the tops off the garlic heads, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast until soft (about 30-40 minutes).

  2. Sauté the Onion: In a pot, melt the butter and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.

  3. Combine Ingredients: Squeeze the roasted garlic into the pot, add the broth, and bring to a boil. Let simmer for 10-15 minutes.

  4. Blend and Serve: Blend until smooth. Add cream for extra richness if desired. Serve with toasted bread.
